October is one of my favourite months in Ronda. The intense heat of summer has usually eased, the crowds are smaller, and the town begins to feel more relaxed after the busy Feria de Pedro Romero period in September.
The days are often with blue skies and pleasantly warm rather than the baking heat of the summer. This makes October a good time for walking, sightseeing, sitting outside with a coffee, and enjoying the views across the Serranía de Ronda. The evenings are cooler, especially when the sun goes down, but that is part of the appeal. You can spend the day exploring and then settle into a local restaurant without feeling that you are still trying to escape the heat.
