The Hotel El Bandolero is a boutique hotel in the village of Juzcar in the Genal Valley of Andalucia, an area rich in history and natural charm, and home to a very popular annual mushroom conference.

Several of the rooms offer vistas of the surrounding mountains, and the valley below Juzcar, and all eight rooms are equipped with en suite bathroom, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, heating, and can be reserved in twin, double, or suite.

The restaurant at the Hotel El Bandolero is known locally and regularly receives celebrities from the coast, though the menu and the desserts are not entirely traditional, paying homage to Spanish style without restricting the chef.

Hotel Restaurant Berlanga – Ronda

The Hotel Berlanga is similar to a motorway rest stop, and fits this need perfectly being located close to Ronda’s industrial area. It is also close to the railway station and supermarkets, and a 10 minute walk will see you in Ronda’s main shopping street.

Visitors who are the target market for Hotel Berlanga are those with a tighter budget but requiring the comfort, cleanliness and facilities of a central city hotel. Certainly the hotel is not a pension, and if you don’t mind a short walk (Ronda is a small city) you’ll have easy access to all of the city’s main attractions.

Camping El Sur – Ronda

Now known as the “Complejo Turistico El Sur” and just a kilometer away from the old centre of Ronda, the Camping El Sur is more a holiday camp than just camp site, with wooden self-catered bungalows for non-camping guests. Mature olive and oak trees surround the campsite making this a fantastic family holiday destination.

There are plenty of activities that guests can try when staying at Camping El Sur. The facility has a large outdoor swimming pool and child’s playground, as well as mini-golf course and table tennis. A large swimming pool and separate toddler’s pool are very popular in the warmer months.

Hotel Los Almendros – Cortes de la Frontera

Cortes de la Frontera (16km from Benaojan) is the closest town in Malaga province to the Alcornocales Natural Park, in addition to being within the boundaries of the Sierra de Grazalema, and near to the Guardiaro River, gives the Hotel Los Almendros a prime position for enjoying the nature of inland Andalucia.

The hotel design is rustic yet modern, with all comforts of a three star hotel provided, whilst being out of town to provide an even more tranquil holiday. Next to the hotel is a camp ground also owned by Hotel Los Almendros, but over the road so guests in the hotel aren’t disturbed. However the proximity of the camp ground means hotel guests are able to use the added facilities such as playground, games room, tennis court, BBQs, and swimming pool.
