A rather quaint inn with 5 comfortable apartments located on a hillside overlooking the Guadiaro River, and only 100m from the Cueva del Gato cave system. This location provides guests at the inn a great view of the Serrania de Ronda Mountains.
The nearby area is most famous for being on the southern edge of the Grazalema Natural Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty. As well as the Cueva del Gato, visitors should also plan to see the Cueva de la Pileta, a publicly accessible cave with paleolithic and neolithic paintings and impressive natural formations.

The apartments at El Galgo Country Inn are equipped with modern amenities and each provides a large double or twin bedroom, kitchenette, salon, en suite bathroom, and tea or coffee making facilities. Satellite TV from the UK, Germany, France and of course Spain is installed.
All apartments are air-conditioned and heated, and complimentary continental breakfast is included. Free Internet is provided in all public areas, and parking onsite is never a problem.
The downstairs bar is a welcome site at the end of a busy day hiking around the Serranía, and its large terrace offers views across to the cave. Enjoying a beer or wine at the bar, on the terrace or beside the pool is precisely what many guests look forward to. Guests wanting to enjoy a barbecue are free to use one of the two supplied barbecues in the gardens beside the pool.

I’ve been living in this lovely area of Western Andalucia for the last 20 years or so and dedicate most of my time to the running of English language tourist information websites for the towns of Cádiz, Ronda, Grazalema, the famous or infamous Caminito del Rey, and also Wildside Holidays, which promotes sustainable and eco-friendly businesses running wildlife and walking holidays in Spain. My articles contain affiliate links that will help you reserve a hotel, bus, train or activity in the area. You don’t pay more, but by using them you do support this website. Thankyou!
